Dr Julia

Born and raised in Brisbane, Julia graduated from Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in 2011, and moved to Wangaratta in regional Victoria to pursue her interest in mixed practice. She loved the opportunity to work with a variety of farm and small animals and made the most of the country lifestyle, ski fields, mountains, hiking trails and wineries of north-east Victoria. She fulfilled her dream of working as a vet in the UK for 7 months in 2015, and finally moved back to Brisbane in 2018, drawn by family, friends and warmer weather.

Julia loves seeing the bond between people and their pets, and enjoys the varied cases of general practice, she has a keen interest in the ‘fear free’ approach to veterinary care and animal behaviour. When she’s not at work Julia loves spending time with her dog Scarlett, her family and friends, cooking, gardening and doing all things outdoors.
