Nurse Sophie

Sophie has loved all animals for as long as she can remember and “animal lover” is often the first thing anyone who knows Sophie will say to describe her.

Following her time volunteering in animal shelters, wildlife hospitals and as a wildlife carer, Sophie decided to pursue a career in veterinary nursing and joined the Happy Pets team in 2022.

Sophie enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing but has a keen interest in animal welfare and  emergency care and loves getting to see pets who come in unwell, go home happy and healthy.

Outside of work Sophie enjoys wildlife photography, bird watching, exploring the outdoors and adding to her vinyl collection.  Sophie has two rescue cats, Wally and Ollie and can’t wait to one day own a rescue greyhound.
